Organic Farm Manager

Full-time 2-5 Years Burdwan, West Bengal Agriculture

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Organic Farm Manager to oversee our organic farming operations and ensure sustainable agricultural practices. You will be responsible for managing farm staff, implementing organic techniques, and ensuring compliance with organic certification standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day farm operations
• Supervise farm staff and workers (50+ members)
• Implement organic farming techniques and sustainable practices
• Monitor crop health, growth, and pest management
• Maintain farm equipment and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with India Organic certification standards
• Prepare harvest, production, and financial reports
• Coordinate with logistics and marketing teams
• Train new farmers in organic methods

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture/Horticulture or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in organic farming management
• Knowledge of organic certification standards (NPOP/India Organic)
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
• Physical fitness for farm work and field supervision
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between farm locations
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
